The Woody

Never before has a firewood storage system been designed solely to mount on the rear bumper of your Zone caravan. After many requests from Zone owners, we designed a practical, robust, and aesthetically pleasing firewood/jerrycan storage system we called "THE WOODY".

THE WOODY not only looks great but has been designed to hold two 20kg bags of firewood or 40kg of your own roadside-cut firewood. If you choose not to store firewood, it will also hold up to three Proquip jerrycans. THE WOODY has been designed with 15 location points that you can hook your ratchet strap into to secure your load of firewood and/or jerrycans.

We have also made THE WOODY a flat-pack design. Yes, that's right.. Unlike all the other fabricated versions of a firewood box on the market, THE WOODY can be shipped cost-effectively Australia-wide and comes with all the hardware and a QR code for assembly.

Mounting THE WOODY to your Zone rear bumper is as easy as purchasing either the Gen1 (Offroad and Base models) or Gen2 (Peregrine and Sojourn models) mounting kits. Because the rear bumper on the Gen 1 and Gen 2 vans are slightly different in height, we have designed both mounting kits to distribute the weight to the strongest point of the rear bumper.

Depending on your spare tyre and/or ladder configuration on the rear bumper, THE WOODY will mount on either the left or right-hand side, utilising the four pre-drilled holes on the Gen2 bumper. However, Gen 1 owners will need to use our drilling template, which is supplied when purchasing the Gen1 mounting kit, to drill these holes or have one of our resellers fit THE WOODY for them.

We are excited about THE WOODY not only because it's practical, looks great and strong but also because it was designed by a Zone owner at the request of Zone owners.
